Insights from Trauma with Marcus Engel

As a college freshman, Marcus Engel was blinded and nearly killed after being struck by a drunk driver. Through hundreds of hours of reconstructive surgery, months of rehab and adaptation to a completely new world, Marcus remained committed to his goals: return to college and recapture life. Marcus accepted and embraced the challenge. The life lessons he learned on the unexpected journey are now the guiding forces that inspire hundreds of thousands every day. In 2010, “The Drop”, a short film based on Marcus’ memoir was released and can be viewed for free at www.TheDropMovie.com. He is the co-founder of the I’m Here Movement, a 501(c)3, which is changing the culture of care with two simple words. Marcus has authored four books. He holds a B.S. in sociology from Missouri State University and a M.S. in Narrative Medicine from Columbia University in the city of New York. In 2017, Marcus was awarded an honorary doctorate from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and is currently an adjunct professor at the University of Notre Dame where he teaches pre-meds the art of “being with.”  He lives in Orlando, Florida with his wife, Marvelyne, and his Seeing Eye dog, Winter. Enabling Constraints, Constitutions, and Liberating Organizations with Kurt Nielsen

Kurt B. Nielsen is an engineer, entrepreneur, writer and keynote speaker. He has been the CEO of software and consultancy companies, and has for 20 years, worked internationally with Agile, Lean, Scrum, and other progressive leadership patterns. His views are deeply rooted in the Danish Coop movement with focus on individual liberty combined with responsibility for the community.Kurt is the author of the book Liberating Organizations together with a group of collaborators. They have collected a wealth of experience and documented the findings in this book. Liberating Organizations is a book for those who want to generate more value for all stakeholders through their work in organizations. We propose that this can be accomplished through a resilient and sustainable workplace based on people’s freedom, engagement and their taking of responsibility. The book is an investigation of the cold case of freedom in organizations, why is there so little of it? The result is a solution, a blueprint for a Liberating Organization – a Constitutional Organization where there is freedom under the rule of law – not the law of the ruler. We show how we got to the state we are in now with leadership in our organizations; why it is not ideal – primarily due to lack of engagement; what a better solution could be; and how to get there. Being Human: Organizational Interactions with Dr. Fred Moss

Dr. Fred Moss is a mental health advocate/psychiatrist serving in many capacities: keynote speaker, psychiatry expert witness, podcaster, mental health coach, and teacher. A desire to help people be real and heard has been the driving force leading him to multiple settings and roles as a psychiatrist over the years and compelling him to continually look for better, more effective ways to provide the highest quality care to align people with their most authentic self to deliver into an eagerly awaiting world. He is the amazing creator of Welcome To Humanity, The True Voice Course, Healing the Healer, and Global Madness. As the founder of the Welcome to Humanity movement, and the True Voice Mastermind and methodology, Dr. Fred now finds himself making the difference he came here to make. His years in the community, where he has been a physician to over 40,000 patients, and his storied and adventurous life traveling around the world has left him uniquely qualified to remind us of what we already know. Communication is where love arises from, and speaking the truth and listening authentically is the source of that love. He is the author of "Creative 8 - Healing Through Creativity and Self-Expression" and "Find Your True Voice!". He has written many articles for Psychology Today. Also, he has won an award for the best essay at the 2019 Conference for Global Transformation, titled "Global Madness, What Must Happen to Unite.” Fred has also led many courses in True Voice Podcasting, taking people from zipped-lip to podcaster in 12 short weeks. His most recent course is titled "True Voice Course" and is intended to help people who know they have something to say, to rediscover what that really is and get it out into the world. His most recent work is centered around the healing of the healers, aptly named Healing the Healer. The brilliant virtual course reminds the transitioning healers of the world that are released from their official position of a doctor, nurse, social worker, or clinician of any type, which may not be the trauma that they are likely feeling. In fact, it may be an opportunity to reset, rediscover and reenter the healing world in a new capacity, profoundly more aligned with themselves than they have ever been. A mastermind of like-minded individuals is also offered to capitalize on the essential power of community to assist when making significant paradigmatic shifts. Think Big and Start Small: How to build a digital twin of me

Marcel Henriquez – Red Data Solutions. We specialize in combining (unstructured) data from multiple sources to provide insights. With the recent developments in AI, this capability is increasingly the base on which these new KM developments are built. We are mainly focused on getting as much data as possible and structuring it to make it work for the required application. On several occasions we team up with other companies specializing in Knowledge Graph systems and conversational chatbots. I am our companies first contact for clients, new and existing, and I am the first to work out requirements with the client team. This is very deliberate, because I do not want technology to limit the question when the client does not yet know what they want exactly. When we have a solution on paper, that is the moment I shift to my technical experience and start working out how the solution on paper can be transformed into working software. #knowledgemanagement #KMsystems #dataprocessing #searchengines #onedatastoremultipleapplications #conversational_intelligence #natural_language_querying https://www.researchgate.net/publication/373707915_CLARK_Building_Conversational_Intelligence_for_Knowledge_Management_in_the_Space_Domain https://reddata.nl/cases/eglossary/ (dutch) https://reddata.nl/cases/esa-taxonomy-tool/ (dutch) Andrew Herd has 25 years of experience in the space domain, with the past decade as Senior Engineer for Corporate Knowledge Management at the European Space Agency (ESA). He has led over 50 lesson capture and learning initiatives, managed knowledge for ESA's largest Directorate, and developed innovative Lessons Learned web and mobile applications. Andrew is a recognized thought leader with over 30 publications and has chaired international panels on lessons learned. He founded BraveLLAMA, dedicated to advancing knowledge management through enabling others to learn from experience, and launched #ExperienceXChange blog for this same purpose. His energies are currently dedicated towards leading a KMGN hosted project: KM Landscape@2025 – and for this he is grateful to all the co-creators, together with whom he is walking, talking and working.
