Q1 of the year is complete,  so we talk about our favorite 2023 music thus far. 

We talk about the new 100 gecs album, '10,000 gecs.' Which leads us to a conversation about hyperpop and what (inevitably) happens when subculture brushes with the mainstream. 

We're flipping our recent bonus episode about Skrillex onto the main feed! Producer Cayla joins us to talk about his unique rise to fame, influence on 2010s pop culture, his pair of new albums and more. 

A $10 patron asked us to talk about Coldplay, so we figured that was one for the main feed. We focus on their first five records, and then the one co-host who accidentally listened to *all* the Coldplay records for this assignment weighs in on their recent ventures.
