Hope & Endo with Angelika Juraja from Ameos Episode #9

Here is the next episode in the Endometriosis and Hope Series. As a Naturopath & Personal Trainer who works with women with Endometriosis and an active member of many of the Endometriosis facebook groups, I see and hear of so many women suffering with Endometriosis. I wanted to create this series to provide Hope to the Endometriosis community because there are many women living with Endometriosis pain free, living normal healthy lives and doing amazing and incredible things in their own spaces and communities. Today I chat with Angelika Juraja, 34 from Adelaide, South Australia, has had all stages of Endo since being diagnosed at 15. She has had 7 laparoscopies during this time and continues to manage Endo symptoms. From this she has created a business, Ameos, that focuses around raising awareness for Endometriosis through Fashion. Ameos primarily sells Ponytail Hats but now also does Apparel and each item sold has a portion donated to Endometriosis Organisation Qendo. Angelika continues to share her story where she can in hope that it helps even one other person. FB & Instagram - ameos.com.au Disclaimer: Angelika & Dee would like to acknowledge that when the term 'woman, women, girls and any reference to females' also acknowledge those of the transgender, non-binary and gender diverse community. The term people should be used in all cases but it is still a change in language that I/we are challenging ourselves to correct each day.
