MIND High School's new community engagement project.
The students at MIND High School in the Plateau
have embarked upon a new community engagement project.
The theme is education for social justice and personal wellbeing while
creating spaces for youth autonomy within an alternative school
system. MIND, an alternative option for independent and motivated
students, strives to create a unique educational experiences within an environment that fosters diversity, inclusivity and critical thinking.

The annual EMSB’s teacher appreciation ceremony recognized some outstanding teachers from this past year. Winners included the team of Lea Zuravlyov, Mauro Corneli, Itzhak Raz, Patrick Bramm, Silvia Bilotto and Galina Gatsko (adult sector) representing the mathematics staff at John F. Kennedy Adult Education Centre in St. Michel.

Children and teens face so many issues and parents often struggle with how best to help their children and that’s why the EMSB Parents Committee is holding its fourth annual Parent Conference this weekend
On Sunday, from 9 am to 4 pm, join parents for a series of workshops on a variety of issues pertaining to both your elementary and high school students.
To tell us more, EMSB Parent Commissioner, Daniel Tatone who is Chair of the Subcommittee to manage the Parents Conference joins me along with his two sons…Justin Tatone, a FACE graduate, currently at Dawson and 10 year old Isaac Tatone of Pierre Elliott Trudeau Elementary.
