Jason was busy at work, so Chris decided to visit him so they could talk previews! Marvel's current reboot of the ultimate universe makes for some exciting new books (so many) and Dynamite is doing a bunch of Disney comics, like Cruella. It is an exciting time to be a comic book lover, or soon to be comic book lover. Then we got to the toys! Skybound has been doing amazing things with Invincible, especially since it has taken Prime video by storm, and the new action figures seem to be continuing this trend. Over the past few years Spider-Man and Spider-Man: Miles Morales have earned a place in the hearts of gamers across the Spiderverse, well world. These titles were enough to cause Chris to get a PS4. On October 20th the highly anticipated follow-up from Insomniac games came exclusively to the Playstation 5 and has taken the world by storm. In this episode, we talk about how gameplay has changed, for the better, and how this particular Spider-Man storyline is building a brilliant universe for beloved characters. With New York City Comic Con wrapping up, a ton of new announcements and trailers have hit the internet and geeks like us couldn't be more excited. The biggest story to come our of the convention was not an announcement of something new or exciting but of human excrement finding it's way to the floor. Okay, it wasn't the most exciting thing, but it did make a few headlines. From Scott Pilgrim to Godzilla and into multiverses a plenty, there was so much to talk about and so little time.
