I have what some would call an embarrassing encyclopedic knowledge of pop culture. But I’m not ashamed of it. In fact, I embrace it. Couple that knowledge with my training as a multimedia journalist and there was only one career path to take: entertainment news and new media. I think you have to be passionate about what you do for a living, or else you can’t live by the phrase, “Love what you do and you’ll never work a day in your life.” And, trust me, that’s the phrase I plan to live by.
