Andrew Reynolds has been exploring consciousness since he began meditating as a four-year-old. His interest in consciousness and reality led him to receive degrees in physics and psychology as well as extensive work with psychedelics and practices such as meditation, mindfulness, and yoga. He now lives in Denver where he was on the executive board of the Psychedelic Club of Denver and is a Meditation instructor, a psilocybin-ceremony facilitator, and integration and life coach. His favorite pastimes are rock climbing and playing and listening to music as well as, of course, experiencing the curve-balls that life has to offer.

Bio for our guest:

Charley Wininger is a psychotherapist in private practice. Licensed as a Psychoanalyst as well as a Mental Health Counselor, he specializes in relationships and communication skills, and has been treating couples and individuals in his Manhattan and Brooklyn offices for over 30 years.

He completed his post-graduate training at the Gestalt Associates for Psychotherapy in New York, and has continued his professional development the past twelve years at New York’s Soma-Psyche Institute, where he learns intuition and empathic attunement skills.

He has often been featured in The New York Times and Newsday as “The Love Doctor”, and has appeared several times on tv.

For the past 20 years, Charley has been a member of the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (www.maps.org), which funds research into the use of MDMA (Ecstasy) for treating PTSD, social anxiety and other ailments. He and his wife Shelley have been instrumental in building the local MAPS community in New York since 2004.

Charley sits on the Board of Advisors of The Psychedelic Education and Continuing Care Program at the Center for Optimal Living in New York, and speaks there on the topic of “Psychedelics Across The Lifespan”.

Although he doesn’t use MDMA in his therapy practice, he continues to benefit from personal experience with this medicine as it informs and improves his performance as a psychotherapist.

In this interview with a Shaman and world traveler Renato Guerrero, Hugh T Alkemi talks with him about an alternative worldview of history and snuffs from the Amazon as well as Sacred Cactus and Mushrooms. Renato Guerrero, born in Chile, was passionate about the mysteries of life.

Erika Buenaflor, M.A., J.D., has a master’s degree in religious studies with a focus on Mesoamerican shamanism from the University of California at Riverside. A practicing curandera for more than 20 years, descended from a long line of grandmother curanderas, she has studied with curanderX in Mexico, Peru, and Los Angeles and gives presentations on curanderismo in many settings, including at UCLA. The author of Cleansing Rites of Curanderismo and Curanderismo Soul Retrieval, she lives in Tujunga, California.
