JFSVviolin ,

Super interesting podcast!!

I highly recommend this podcast to anyone who would like to hear from the amazing musicians of one of the best orchestras in the world. The conversations include topics like auditions, orchestra life, life outside the orchestra, each person’s journey, passions outside of music, etc. Everyone arrived to where they are today in different ways and their stories are a must-listen. Julia is not only an amazing violinist but an awesome interviewer too!

The Life behind the music!

This is an extraordinary podcast that really gave me a glimpse into the world of being a renown professional musician and the journey of becoming one. I find the beauty in this podcast is that each interviewee teaches you a different aspect of what it means to perform at a top level but still having passion in your profession, which is living your life to the fullest. I learn something new in each podcast about opera, classical music and being a musician, from the treacherous audition process to the inner workings of what a concert master or principal chair of an orchestra does. This podcast also gives you the life outside the music giving light to what musicians do outside of their life from music...spoiler alert they are not practicing 24/7!? This podcast just makes you want to pick up that instrument that you put down since high school and find your passion for music. In all honesty give Julia a chance and listen to the life stories of her colleagues, it is a wonderful podcast! Keep up the awesome work Julia!!!
