This podcast is inspiring to me. Our family is also running two family businesses and has a similar mindset of wanting our family to be involved. The information provided is helpful as we try to determine our own growth and production.
A gem! Always taking notes, feeling encouraged, finding affirmation, and hopeful for community!
We're new to being a husband/wife business duo full-time. My husband left his job 7 months ago to be the COO/CFO/shipper/administrator in our business, which I've been working in full-time with another employee for about a year. No kids yet, but wanting to raise a family together, without either of us being the primary caregive,r is a big part of our motivation to do this. So, we're family-minded minus the kids so far. And, of course, being able to enjoy extended travel, like many of you.
Every single episode I'm taking notes, tweaking our approach, feeling encouraged, and getting affirmation that we're headed in the right direction. That has been SO, SO helpful. I only wish we'd known about you 7 months ago as we were just starting, rather than 4 months in to trying to figure it out ourselves!
Stephanie and Ryan, you've created a gem. Thank you.
Considering we are at the very, very beginning of working towards what this family has accomplished, it gives me hope for the future and excites me! My wife and I listen to this podcast regularly and are really encourgaed by it to see that the principles from books like the Four Hour Work Week can work with families, and not just singles.
