Ep 014: Growing Up with Mom as a Coach; Real Talk‪.‬ Lets Be Honest Before We Start Pretending

    • Entrepreneurship

I have often been told, “your boys must have loved growing up with you as a Coach”.  My response is, “you might want to ask them that question”, with an immediate giggle that followed.
Today I thought it would be fun to invite them to tell their story on what it was like to be a kid and teenager growing up with a Mom as leadership coach, being fully immersed in leadership principles every single day.
You might say we all grew up as leadership coaches together, because let me tell you, they don’t hesitate to hold me accountable, call me on my “stuff”, and hold me to my word, and being the best version of me, even when I don’t feel like it!  I’ve said it before and I will say it again, they are my greatest teachers and coaches, and I am so incredibly blessed and grateful to be their Mom.
They are amazing young men, and I know you will love hearing their perspective.

Here are the highlights from this episode:
{4:19} The key to coaching
{6:24} Introducing my kids
{7:59} The burning question
{16:31} The power of accountability
{27:51} Leadership and listening
{34:43} Understanding other point of views
