Mr. Roddy Moreno is the lead vocalist for the seminal punk rock band The Oppressed. Formed in 1981 in Cardiff City, Wales; The Oppressed are a staunch anti-fascist/anti-racist band who took a stand against neo-Nazis within the Oi! music scene and elsewhere in the 1980s. Roddy Moreno is also a pioneer of the Skinheads Against Racial Prejudice movement (S.H.A.R.P.) in the United Kingdom. This interview will give you a detailed audio experience into Roddy's life growing up in Cardiff, his inspiration for becoming a musician, what life was like in the Welsh Punk Rock scene as well as some very interesting testimonies about his life as a Skinhead hooligan.
