In this episode, Dr. McElderry is joined by Michael T. Ward, a holistic life coach and speaker specializing in helping career-driven family men pivot from pains of the past to prospering in their everyday lives.
Growing up in northern California, Michael T. experienced love, but also heartache at the age of 6 when his mom passed away. From childhood to early adulthood there was a longing for self-discovery and worth, but he kept his head down and focused on school and work. Longing for an amazing college experience at USC and many other large institutions, his dad and step mom just couldnt afford to send him; but again didn't hold him back from excelling in junior college and transferring into San Francisco State where he graduated summa cum laude.
After graduating college, Michael T. went through more trials of work and self-discovery and ended up turning to drink as a means to get away and "enjoy life". By the age of 30, there was a revolutionary moment where he called it quits and began to shift his life and attention towards being the best version of himself.
Fast forward to 2 Tony Robbins events, 2 personal coaches and an amazing journey of spirtual awakening Michael T. is now serving men and women through his speaking, coaching, and mentorship.
