Ep. 173: Making Hard Things Easy to Talk About: A conversation with Raquel Kelley This Is My Truth

    • Self-Improvement

Today I chat with my new friend Raquel Kelley. We get real & honest about so many things - the identity of motherhood, taking the leap from corporate, postpartum depression - and we are vulnerable, real and still manage to have fun while doing so.

A bit more about Raquel in her own words:

Raquel Kelley is a mother, writer, TV producer, and host of the MOMGUL Podcast. She began her career at E! Entertainment where she worked for over a decade producing shows such as Live! From the Red Carpet and Fashion Police. She’s also been a featured contributor for Condé Nast and The HuffPost.

After having two kids under two, Raquel relocated her family to her native Ohio. While her life may have changed, her career goal remains the same– make hard things easy to talk about.

Her first book, Where’d I Go?, flips the lift-the-flap board book on its head– written not for babies, but for moms. Comical and authentic, this little board book delivers a big message: mothers are women, too.
