Special Assistant to the Assistant Secretary of Health and Human Services. Legislative Assistant to the Director of the Office of Management and Budget. Floor Assistant to the House Republican Chief Deputy Whip. He is on the Board of Directors of the International Republican Institute (past Vice Chairman)and the Cohen Institute (Chair), the School of Policy and International Affairs at the University of Maine.
