Keeping It 100 Radio: Uncensored Diabetes Conversations

EP 28: Inclusion and Representation in the Diabetes Community with Taylor Turner

We know that there are two disparities in the diabetes community.

Disparity #1: There is a lack of representation and empathy for the type two community.
Disparity #2: People of color do not receive the same level of care in either communities.

So how does social media perpetuate these disparities? How can we become more inclusive and bridge the gap?

Inside this weeks episode, I sit down with Taylor Danielle, Podcaster and Founder of Healing in Hindsight a network to help millennials with diabetes thrive. We discuss Taylor's experience as a Type 2 woman of color navigating the diabetes community and advocating for equal care and representation.
