A Life Worth Living with KOLBY KOLIBAS Speak LOUD

    • Personal Journals

I’ve been anticipating my guest today for quite a while! He has created and continues to create good in the world. Kolby is a devoted father and passionate about life and learning. He lives by his credo called LIFE. Tune in for my chat with Kolby Kolibas, a keynote speaker, best-selling author of “You Should See the Other Guy”,  film producer, social media marketing master, and creator of the hit docu-series Life Worth Living.

“I grew up a kid with loving parents. When my parents divorced, I was a teenager left alone to my own devices. I had a dad who worked a lot, and I got into trouble. As a teen, I wasn’t really thinking about suicide.” As an adult, Kolby decided to chronicle his mistakes and how he found a path through his faults. He talks about how this process creates who we are and our unique personalities when we survive ourselves.

Suicide the Number One Killer of Children under 18
Over 3,000 children between the ages of 8 to 17years old will attempt suicide in the next 24 hours. “In the middle of a pandemic, we find ourselves in an exciting time,” Kolby states that when you look at the numbers of suicide, you find that it’s an epidemic as it's the number one killer of kids ages eight to 18, not only in the United States but globally.

Kolby’s goal is to give others a bit of hope and the ability to “choose one more day.” As a result, he started the non-profit A Life Worth Living. “It’s giving kids hope by showing them they are going through things that other people have, and they can make it one more day.”

Listen in to Kolby’s advice on how to live when you want to give up, his challenges he faced in life, and how he deals with depression. Learn how Kolby came up with his LIFE credo, understanding how to escape the negative feedback loop, and how to look for the positivity and opportunity to encourage others and give them hope.
