Join us for week two of Jeff’s Summer Adventure! This week, we’re taking you to lovely Ybor, Florida to hang out over a few beers with Gary Kost, Ken Foutch, and Derrick Gough from Coppertail Brewing Co.
What started as a childhood cryptid created by owner Kent Bailey’s daughter evolved through the years into the award winning and forever mystical brewery (complete with a functioning confessional) here today.
We talk about distribution and a “local first” mentality, zesting limes with a power drill, and Pink Boots collabs… but we can’t talk about Wyoming 👀
Derrick, Gary, and Ken leave us with great advice about the importance of building a brand, how to find your place on the production floor, and always being a team player. After all, much like the four hunters searching for the elusive Coppertail, your best plan is to never give up.
