Ep 36: Do What Works Healthy NOT Hungry

Do What Works

We're talking about whatever works. I want to take away the stigma and the what's the word.

The expectation of how we're supposed to be perfect at things and do everything in this stock standard way and strive for this greatness.

Take the pressure off. As a mom to a 5-year-old daughter. I am always in the full swing of, the whole mum guilt of.

Are you feeding your kid enough nutritious food? I think and add
that I'm a nutritionist. It almost takes it up a notch.

So, I think what we need to do is take away these high expectations of what we're expected to do and what looks the best and what's the healthiest and just do what works, if it's
healthy enough, that's enough.

Exercise, eating wellness routines.

Sometimes in the mornings I don't feel like breakfast yet or I don't have time because I'm too busy running after everyone else.

I always have a protein bar in my bag. I'll eat it in the car on the way to work. I'm satisfied.

If you are forcing yourself to do something because expectation wise, you think you need to do it, but it is just not suiting you. It's not fulfilling your cup. It's making you feel bad. It's a struggle.

Take away the pressure and the expectations and the guilt of what we think we should be doing or what we think we need to do.

Don't punish yourself to do something because you think you need to do that, find what works for you and stick to that.

Some people who are the fittest and healthiest and happiest, they don't do these massive obsessive routines of things.

They literally listen to their bodies and they stick with
what works.
