Ep 4 Practice: Box Breathing Know Your FundaMENTALs, Hosted by Kelly Berthold, LCSW

    • Mental Health

Welcome to Episode 4 of our Box Breathing Practice! 📦 I'll guide you through finding your center, counting your breaths, and even adding a touch of humming if you're feeling adventurous! Remember, it's all about what works best for you in this moment. 💫

Get comfortable in your mindfulness posture—shoulders open, palms open, no crossed limbs. Unwind and settle in. 😌 For this practice, try to put a slight upturn of your mouth, like a subtle smirk. It's your secret smile! 😊

Focus on the air flowing in and out, noticing each inhale and exhale. Inhale for four counts, hold for four, exhale for four, and pause for four. 🌬️

If your mind wanders, gently bring it back to tracing the box and anchoring on your breath. 🧘‍♂️

As we conclude, open your eyes, check in with that smirk, and simply notice how you feel.  Whether or not you're relaxed, calm or still going through some subtle waves of emotional feels - whatever your experience, seeing if you can continue to be with yourself and whatever arises, fostering a trust within yourself into the next moments of your life🌟 #Acceptance&Change #BoxBreathing #MindfulnessJourney 🌿
