Ep 4 : Rule #1 Don't talk about Book Club From The Hip

    • Relationships

Kath and Mish open up about their shared obsession with books, and Mish explains why it's highly likely she wont be joining another book club.

Their special guest is Corrie Perkin.

Corrie opened My Bookshop in Melbourne in 2009, and due to Covid was forced to shut its physical doors whilst leaving its online portal wide open.

Prior to moving into the book business, Corrie was an award-winning journalist for 30 years whose writing and editing roles including Managing Editor of The Age, Melbourne editor of Good Weekend magazine, arts and books editor of The Sunday Age, and national arts writer at The Australian.

In this convo, Corrie talks about when to prop a book up in front of a child, and why Mish's distrust of book club dynamics is well founded!
