EP 45: How Can I Better Understand Anxiety and Depression? (with Rina Min‪)‬ On The Grow

    • Self-Improvement

Welcome back to On The Grow, I'm Grace Lee.

This is the forty-fifth episode into the binge-able Mental Health Series.

"It’s important to check in on people. A lot of times you don’t even know if someone is going through something like that. It’s important for us, especially now, but always to check in on each other. Even if you think someone has their life together. People look at me and see me traveling all the time (safely) and living the best life, but really I’ve just been really depressed for four months. You can’t believe what you see on social media, you can’t judge someone. You’ve just got to ask them."

In episode 45 of On The Grow, I have a conversation with Rina Min, a friend here in New York City, on her experiences with anxiety and depression. She shares how she has been coping during the pandemic, her experiences with anxiety and depression in a relationship, routines and steps that helped her get through it, and overall, bringing awareness to help others understand how to approach someone who has anxiety and/or depression.
