    • Parenting

Hey Mamas! Welcome back to the so you had a baby podcast, I am your host Krista and this is episode 47. As you all may know, or may not know, I am so passionate about enjoying the outdoors, going on adventures, and sharing that passion with my daughter. It is for that reason and many more that I am thrilled to be joined by This week's guest!  I had the pleasure of talking with Heather Balogh Rochfort! She is a Colorado-based freelance writer, author, and small business owner who specializes in the outdoor industry. She writes for publications like The Washington Post, Backpacker, and REI, and her fourth book (Moms Who Hike) is launching in Spring 2021. She is also the co-founder of WildKind, a digital membership community for families who want to enjoy outdoor adventures with their children as well as its sister nonprofit, WildKind Closet, which is a free outdoor gear loaner library opening in Denver in May 2021.
Heather is such an inspiration to me and I am sure so many other women and I personally, can completely relate to her story! In addition, her company WildKind is an incredible resource for families who want to get outside and enjoy the outdoors but don't know where to start, or just want a community of other moms who are already out there exploring! I had a blast talking with her and reconnecting, as I had the pleasure of meeting Heather back in 2012 before we were both moms! I can't wait for you to hear this episode, so stay tuned and enjoy!
