Ep. 60 Peggy Bodde on Journeying from Despair to Love and Hope Hope Along The Journey

    • Christianity

Adopted as a baby, Peggy's unhappy childhood was filled with both physical and emotional abuse.  Her home may have appeared to be a normal, middle-class home on the outside, but things inside her home were far from normal.  She felt unloved and unwanted, and her image of God was catastrophically impaired by her home life. At age 13, she was kicked out of the house, and so, packed a plastic bag and set out on her own.  Fortunately, a Christian couple eventually took her in and she began to experience love and acceptance for the first time. Listen to Peggy's moving story of how God watched over her and how she ultimately discovered his great love and transforming power.
