As if appraisal delays were not enough, you can add survey delays to the list of items to keep an eye on.
Most title companies are not ordering the appraisal until the appraisal is completed. With appraisals taking longer the surveys are getting ordered later and they are experiencing the same amount of volume as appraisers.
