Brackets for Good & Neurohope
A few shows back, we welcomed Matt Duncan, Co-Founder and Deputy Director of the Brackets for Good, at the beginning of their annual event. During that show, we promised to have the winner back on and we are doing so today!
This year's winner of Brackets for Good was NeuroHope - an organization that helps patients who have suffered a spinal cord injury get access to rehabilitation.
Chris Leeuw is the founder of NeuroHope and in 2010 he suffered a C4 spinal cord injury that left him paralyzed from the neck down. He went through 17 months of therapy in Utah and returned to Indy in 2012 inspired to help others like him.
It was a great year for the Brackets for Good as well as close to $3 Million was raised this year for non-profits.
