    https://www.adelphialumniplaywrightsgroup.com/

I'm really excited about speaking to my new play, where seven female scientists are brought on to the reality show The Great American Science Fair, competing in a series of experiments to please the American public over the course of an evening in the hopes that they will win the million-dollar prize to further fund their research. Filmed in front of a live studio audience, you, The Great American Science Fair is an interactive glimpse into the gender-biased world of science through the gentle and palatable gaze of everyone’s favorite guilty pleasure, reality television. Watch what happens when the contestants test the hypothesis to see if the Future of Science is indeed Female.

The Great American Science Fair is streaming Saturday, April 24th at 7:30 pm.

    Dan Ciba is directing: https://www.danielciba.com/

Dan has also written a piece for the festival which goes up 5/2 titled Crumbs, which was inspired by Hansel & Gretel.

This reimagining of the Hansel and Gretel fairy tale concerns two sisters as they grapple with their journey into adulthood. Mixed with musings on childhood innocence, personal loss, and the inscrutability of memory, Crumbs considers how the past continually informs the present. But as Hannah and Greta run away, get lost, and meet their witch, can they resist the familiar story— the awkward legacy that casts them as justified murderers—and find their own path forward?

    Ep. 79 Too Solid Fresh

Today I sit down with Megan Lohne and Shoshanah Tarkow and we talk about their upcoming show Too Solid Fresh.

Set in an unconventional distance learning institution, an anxiety ridden pupil, O, tries to find a connection. A cross pollination of Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet, Hamlet, & The Tempest, Too Solid Flesh (written by Megan Lohne and directed by Shoshanah Tarkow) explores youth in the midst of pandemic, connection across screens, and the dangerous undiscovered country of mental health in a world where it is lethal to touch.

The show will be streamed Friday August 28th at 8pm, and Thursday September 3rd at 7:30pm. Each showing will be followed by a talk-back
