EP 70: Ann Moses- The Interview‪!‬ Muses

If you listened to our episode about Ann Moses and her outta sight memoir Meow! My Groovy Life with Tiger Beats Idols, you’ll know she was a fabulous trailblazer with so many interesting stories there was simply too many to cover! We were super excited to get the opportunity to talk to Ann ourselves and had such a fabulous time talking with her!
In this interview we talk about Ann’s writing process, her journey from journalist to interviewee (it involves Millennials and Google!), fame in the 60’s vs fame in the age of the internet and some of the teen idols we weren’t able to cover in her episode such as David Cassidy and Bobby Sherman.
We also talk about the everlasting love of The Monkees fans, having dinner with Harry Nilsson and Eric Clapton, seeing amazing artists such as James Brown and Ike & Tina Turner in their prime and, oh yeah! THAT TIME SHE SHARED A KISS WITH ELVIS PRESLEY!
