Ep. 72 Conscious Conversation w/Diseree Clay: Finding Me - The Disappearing Woman Audacious Confidence: Defeat Your Doubts, Ignite Your Confidence Make the Shift from Impostor to Icon

    • Self-Improvement

Eckhart Tolle profoundly stated "When you lose touch with yourself, you lose yourself in the world." And when it comes to losing touch with themselves, women seem to do that best, especially when it comes to relationships.
Do you find yourself putting others dreams, visions, passions before your own?
How many times in the last 30 days have you said to yourself “What happened to me? I used to_______"; then cried into your favorite glass of wine lamenting the woman you used to be and wondering HOW to get back to her?
Tune in to my Conscious Conversation with Diseree Clay. Dez and I chop it up about our roles as women, wives, mothers, and business women and the journey to FINDING ME - The Disappearing Woman.

Introducing Diseree M. Clay
Low self- esteem, abortions, molestation, prostitution, divorce and single parenting have given Diseree Clay a front row seat in the classroom of hopelessness.
With the help of God, she refused to give in to her circumstances. Determined not to quit and understanding that surviving hard times breeds resilience, she graduated from Grambling State University with a B.S. in Education and from Louisiana Tech University with a M. A . in Guidance and Counseling.
Committed to being the change she wants to see, Diseree became a transformational educator teaching K - 12 for 10 years. Knowing there was more to her assignment of making a difference, this Chicago native is also an inspirational author, workshop facilitator, empowering speaker and passionate advocate for girls/young women. She is also a cofounder of YES! You’re Empowered to Succeed (an empowerment organization).
Her motto is "crisis breeds creativity, courage and critical thinking skills that can turn your life around." She shares this message as the Curator of Dez Three Sixty , her multimedia brand that includes a podcast,  blog,  books and apparel. Based in Houston, TX Diseree is happily married to the love of her life David “ DJ ” Clay raising two, gifted children Carrington and Chase, is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and serves as the Executive Vice President of MC Lyte's Hip Hop Sisters Foundation.
