Ep 72 - In solidarity Men's Mental Health Show

    • Mental Health

We are very privileged to have the lovely Suzie Van Opdorp share her insights from a life dedicated to helping those in need in our community, a journey with a personal beginning that she carries into her now political life.  From managing the bustling Blue Mountains Women's Health Centre, to being an official visitor to inpatients with mental illness, doing case work for MP Trish Doyle, establishing the Blue Fringe Festival Art prize for people with mental illness, and contributing to the Head to Health Initiative, Suzie has a wealth of insight into the difficulties faced by those with mental illness and those who help them.  This show has great music as always from Nic Danta who will be performing at the next Blue Mountains Folk Festival, and as always Boudi Maassen provides insight from the valuable perspective of family therapy.  Please reach out should you feel in need of help.
