EP 75- She Rules #36: Keep Your Eyes On Your Own Paper She RULES with Jessica Stroud
-
- Marketing
These days with technology and social media, it's really easy for the eye to wander onto what someone else is posting, doing, or who they're being. This can create moments of distress, and anxiety, leaving you to feel like you're not doing enough to "Keep up with the Joneses." Imposter syndrome sets in, sometimes depression, and passive-aggressive behavior, and this can lead to other things like rage, and seeking outside validation.
The best way to combat this is to block out distractions. Don't worry about what other people are doing. If you feel powerless or like you're not where you're supposed to be, dig deep, learn more, and then implement.
Get in touch with the inner child who still daydreams from time to time in the middle of an important meeting, and then do that thing you were thinking about.
Key Lessons Stop comparing yourself to others on social media. Learn from the successes of others and put your own spin on them. Unlock and unleash your own potential by joining the She Rules movement. The best way out from being stuck is to focus inward, develop some skills, love yourself, and then turn your focus outwards to help others.
It's liberating. If you would like help with this, join everyone waiting for you at www.SheRules.com
