Ep. 78: Leaving Corporate Finance | Interview With Paige Wilson, Founder of Naborforce Solopreneur Success Path | Have A Profitable Online Business

    • Entrepreneurship

Paige Wilson left the Corporate financial banking realm a number of years ago after her mom passed away. She looked back on her time of trying to take care of her mother while still working and decided to come up with a solution for the Community so that others wouldn’t have to go through the same problems that she faced while doing dual roles.
She saw an article about how the personal home care is on the rise, but fewer people are able to provide it.
She tried meals on wheels but could not commit to the fixed schedule. Her friend found that a flexible schedule was part of the solution (like Uber), for her to be able to help in the community, and that was the initial concept that started Naborforce.
The real problem that needed to be solved was to have a neighbor to help out with some of the non-medical, personal tasks that an elderly person needs done. “It’s kind of like volunteering, but not really, you’re making a little money on the side. But it’s better than volunteering because you’re impacting their lives and making a difference.”
She explains the struggles she had with the Naborforce startup process and the demands of being her own boss.
She then goes on to explain how Naborforce expands and opens up into a new community and how she built her team through raising capital.
