The Small Town Life - Conversations from the Porch

Ep. 9 | Struggling with A Stutter: Overcoming Challenges and Doing the Impossible with Shaun Spivey

Growing up in a small town with a graduating class of just 16 students, I never imagined I’d one day be sharing my voice with the world, especially after years of struggling with a stutter. Yet here I am, inviting you into my world through the Small Town Life podcast. This episode is a personal reflection on how my early challenges, from enduring schoolyard taunts to finding unexpected courage on stage, paved the way for a remarkable journey. With a 25-year career in heavy machinery behind me, I found a new beginning with Small Town Graphics, and eventually, this very podcast—an endeavor I once thought impossible.
