t's not easy to look the other way, silent, while this is happening in our backyard (still).
These images and a tweet by author Ashlee Eiland (in show notes) last week moved me out of inaction. Sometimes it takes just one little push to shake us into taking a stand and for me, it was these.
Here's is the thing, I'm worried, seriously worried, that this beautiful-magnificent Black Lives Matter movement is going to be washed away in a few news cycles.
And I asked my self what can I do here, in my corner of the world to make a difference, to move the needle forward. So I shared in my email last week what we are doing here, and I also posted here in this group.
This week I kept working on my promise and created a compilation of resources on my website hoping that it will motivate my audience to also take a stand & do something beyond sharing posts and rants in social media. (in the show notes)
Also, this week's podcast is dedicated to this cause, because I have found that when we all do the little things that need to be done, the Big things finally become a reality. It's important to realize that we don't have to do heroics acts to be someone's hero. (Resources, books, movies, & important organizations in the show notes)
So I challenge you today to find 1 to 3 things that you can start doing today to assure that the BLM movement lives up to its name.
