Ep1: Jason Lauritsen's Story: Blindsided By Burnout The Workplace Headcase

    • Management

This week on The Workplace Headcase, my obsession is burnout. As someone who has burned out spectacularly, this topic is one I think about often.
This week's guest, Jason Lauritsen was blindsided by burnout and lived to tell the tale too. Jason is an author, speaker, professional development coach who spends his time helping organizations and leaders solve the problem of employee engagement.
Jason tells his story of how his bout of burnout shaped his current concept of work, how compartmentalizing work and life is a recipe for burnout, and opportunities companies can give their employees to work through their rough periods and mitigate  burnout.
I want to give a big thank you to Jason for being my first guest, being open and honest, and modeling to others that sharing your story is not so hard!
