EP88: Is Learning Loss Something We Need To Worry About‪?‬ The Chey and Pav Show: Teachers Talking Teaching

    • How To

In Episode 88 of The Staffroom Podcast, Chey and Pav talk about a concept known as "Learning Loss," and whether it should be something of concern for teachers as we emerge from Covid 19. There have been many conversations regarding Learning Loss for years, as it has traditionally been a topic of conversation for summer vacations, however, it has become significantly heightened as we come out of 18+ months of "disrupted" learning.

Chey and Pav refer back to their first exposure to this idea a few months ago through a blog post written and shared by Sunil Singh @Mathgarden. It was through this learning that they began to consider the story behind Learning Loss and how it affects students and teachers in educational systems.
