A fellow garden YOLO-er

Love this short form podcast! Easily accessible throughout my busy day. I love that you are looking for my thoughtful design work as you recently said you are a person that just throws it in the garden and sees what happens! That’s totally me so I’m happy to be more intentional in my planning. Thanks for providing a great learning resource :)

Fun bite-sized segments

I love gardening and getting organized. When I’m down, reading a book or listening to the Beet gets me back on track. I’ve learned so much on things I hadn’t even thought of trying yet. And I appreciate that each episode is short so I’m able to listen, and then go out and do.

Jacques

I think Jacques should be on at least once a month. He could do bi weekly or monthly updates on what is going on at his place. Love it when he’s on……

Learning from Epic after 50 years of gardening

I’ve been a gardener in the Midwest us, northern us and now southern us. I thought i knew how to do this, but every. Single. Episode I learn something new from this sweet spirit. The podcasts fill me with knowledge, and even better, they renew my peace, hopefulness and love for growing my own food. If I could only have 1 gardening podcast, this is the one I’d choose.

Love this podcast!

Amateur gardener here - loved this podcast! But can you bring back the Epic farming theme song please?! I don’t mind the rebranding but the music really doesn’t work, it makes me think of the Wild West, cowboys, and desert — the exact opposite of the original theme which was an inviting, comforting, nurturing garden.

Great for newbies

This podcast is great for me because I’m just getting into growing. We bought a hydroponic gardening system and that lead to a greenhouse and a composter. Next I’m going to worm farm and try my hand at growing through the winter in the Midwest. This podcast gives me so many tips and talks about things I hadn’t thought and lots of things I need to consider. I love the short episodes but sometimes wish they were longer! Great information, thank you so much!!!

My favorite podcast!

I am not a novice gardener. I’ve been gardening organically for over two decades, and I’ve been a master gardener volunteer for over a decade, yet I always learn something new from this podcast. The guests and subject matters Kevin has on are always so varied and interesting- although I have to say my favorite episodes are the ones with Jacque. I feel like I’m sitting with my buddies taking gardening. I also love that it’s a quick 10 minute show that I can easily finish in the car on the way home. As a busy mom, sometimes it’ll take me a week to get through other hour long podcasts. The only thing I don’t like is the new theme music for The Beet versus Epic Gardening. I really miss the nature sounds in the chirping birds, it was like my daily meditation! I’m sure it’s hard work making a daily show and it is appreciated so thank you Kevin and the Epic Gardening team.
