Many have had unnerving conversations with White Christians about racism. There is a disbelief as to how they can deny the ongoing reality of racism in this country, or how they can push back against white privilege or anything that seems to imply they are complicit in a system of evil. Many feel exasperated and are left to ask, "How can they not see this?!" This is what we seek to understand together. As Thich Nhat Hanh says, “Understanding is love’s other name. If you don’t understand, you can’t love.” Perhaps if we can understand more, we can love better. And if we can love better, we all may continue to grow and transform and move toward greater wholeness. Enjoy!
