In March 2025, journalism major Sophie Fowler had the opportunity to chat virtually with Heather Davis, CEO of the Portland Timbers. The Timbers are an professional soccer club based in Portland, Oregon, and Heather’s job is to ensure they succeed both as a sporting organization but as a business.
