Episode 12 Part 3 - Meet Doug Pickard The Parkinson's Road Podcast

    • Health & Fitness

In the final installment, Doug tells us how he came to be involved with the Davis Phinney Foundation and one of the very first Canadian Ambassadors.  Doug also shares his words of advice for other fitness professionals who work with PWP, and for loved ones and caregivers too!
I am also really excited to be a part of Parkinson’s Secrets to Living Successfully project.  It's a two-part series where 13 people from around the world share the unique stories of their struggles with Parkinson's and how exercise has positively impacted their lives. Christine Jeyachandran initiated this video project because she knows what it is like to struggle but wants everyone to know that it will make a difference, for the better.

Fluid Fitness is located in Parksville British Columbia.

“When you do nothing, you feel overwhelmed and powerless. But when you get involved, you feel the sense of hope and accomplishment that comes from knowing you are working to make things better.”
