Episode 16: The Occupation of Worry The Innovative OT

    • Social Sciences

Sorry everyone, it's just me today. This episode is dedicated to the topic of anxiety and 'the occupation of worry'.  I discuss everything from how anxiety is developed within the brain to evidence-based methods you can use on yourself, as well as with your clients.  Since the COVID-19 pandemic started, there has been an increase in anxiety in both adults and children.  Occupational therapy practitioners need to be aware of how to appropriately address anxiety clinically, as well as how to manage it in their own life.
