As a pillar in the London pan scene for decades, Delphina James has established herself firmly as a pan advocate, music educator and pan innovator keen on helping her community improve its capabilities for the instrument. One of her biggest accomplishments is her book series, "Learn Music On...", created specifically for each major instrument in the steel orchestra, including tenor pan, double seconds, guitar pan and bass pans. Her goal is to help pannists learn to sight read music on their instrument better, which will in turn improve the speed and capabilities of steel bands in London and beyond.
