Connection Over Chaos

Hello beautiful humans, thank you for listening and supporting the Thrive Forever Fit Show. It truly means the world to me that you take time out of your precious day to listen to me ramble and rant about things I found entertaining, engaging, and meaningful.

In this episode, I talk about creating connections and having excellent communication in the face of chaos.

Our current reality is that:

Connection Is Down

Communication Is Down

Trust Is Down

And Chaos, Anxiety, and Uncertainty are at an all-time high.

The Problems:

#1 We are currently choosing chaos over connection, and without connection, there is no communication. And the key element to highly valued relationships and communication is trust, and we are for sure in a trust deficit.

#2 We live in a Sound Bite Society. We receive and give information in sound bites instead of dialogue. When was the last time you had a real conversation with another human that didn't include text, DM, Social Media, Voice Messages?

#3 We are choosing anger of acceptance. Great conversations are often initiated by opposing opinions. We don't have to hate people who think differently than we do.

#4 We are living in a cycle of fear. We have been in this current fear cycle for over two years now, and it's taken its toll on our connection, communication, and trust.

The Solutions:

#1 Self-Trust, Self-Awareness, Self Belief ~ look internally for your truth before seeking answers from the chaotic outside world.

#2 Know that just because you believe something that doesn't make it true. This goes for me, you, and everyone on the planet. Ask yourself the question, why do I believe this, and then seek answers to validate your belief. You might be surprised at what you find.

#3 Make a point to have honest, meaningful conversations with other humans every day, even if they have different options than you.

#4 Appreciate the uniqueness and diversity of other people's ideas and opinions. We can learn new perspectives from each other if we are willing to connect and communicate.

#5 Stop crossing chaos and start being compassionate to each other.

#6 Step out of the fear cycle. Turn off the news, get off social media and start connecting with people in real life again. I think you'll find we are a lot more alike than different.

If you love the show, it would mean the world to me if you'd like it, share it, and review it. That's the only way I can help more people and continue to fulfill my mission of helping others overcome pain and start living a life of peaceful passion.

❤️ ~ Jay
