Episode 11: Berlin
Berlin is Germany's "poor-but-sexy" capital often dubbed an island. Following the Cold War, the city saw an influx of bohemians who found home among the ruins of a divisive wall. Berlin adapted to embrace radical cultures: techno-heads, punks, anarchists. Fast-forward to 2022. The tone has shifted. Soaring rents and a palpable anti-expat sentiment have driven creatives elsewhere. Our group of artists gathered in early spring, keen to discuss the complexities of living in this evolving metropolis.
