VANDER JAM GAIDEN: New Mic Who Dis (PS I'm Gay)

Gooooooooooooooooooooooood morning! And welcome to 2024! Auld Lang Syne and so on. Mayor's back in the booth, ringing in the new year with a new mic, new meds, and new love. I swear this episode had a point, but alas. Come along on a magical journey as I talk about the value of kindness, off label usage and its relationship to Heidegger, and how absolutely dope I look in this Faye Valentine shirt. Please agree to an interview. Please.@vander_iamiamhowardvander@gmail.comwww.ko-fi.com/mayorvander

VANDER JAM GAIDEN: Joan and Other Famous Didions

VANDER JAM GAIDEN: Joan and Other Famous Didions

Gooooooooooooooooooooood morning! I was depressed and didn't want to fight the urge to self harm, so I sat down and started talking. A classic mayoral unspooling of thoughts, and true to form, it actually does come together in the end. Come along on a magical journey as I dish about American New Realism, the importance of separating art from artists, and I take half an hour to explain a joke I was going to make.@vander_iamiamhowardvander@gmail.comwww.ko-fi.com/mayorvander

VANDER JAM GAIDEN: C++ and The Rest Is Sus

VANDER JAM GAIDEN: C++ and The Rest Is Sus

Gooooooooooooooooood morning! Your mayor was feeling isolated and decided to fix that with a bit of the ol' pontification. Didn't really have a plan or point but it all came full circle anyway, much like life itself. Come along on a magical journey as we talk about operating systems and user control, aggressive toy and snack branding, and how a willingness to love is the most heroic act of all, or something.@vander_iamiamhowardvander@gmail.comwww.ko-fi.com/mayorvander

VANDER JAM GAIDEN: Hannibal Electoralism, Lain Parties and the Vietnam War

Gooooooooooooood morning! It's the Mayor, back in the saddle and live from Seattle (not really). Decided it was a good time to unspool some thoughts, so I made coffee and I did. Come along on a magical journey as the mayor goes through it on air a bit, reflects on how culture has passed him by, and has a surprising number of clear memories of Archie Comics.@vander_iamiamhowardvander@gmail.comwww.ko-fi.com/mayorvander

VANDER JAM GAIDEN: THE YEAR OF LIVING VANDEROUSLY, or: YOU GOTTA KEEP 'EM LEGALLY SEPARATED

Gooooooooooooooooooood morning, muckrakers and heartbreakers alike. Your mayor has been away for some time, and that time ends now. Decided to check in and get back to what I do best (buncha dumb bullshit). Come along on a magical journey as I shake off the ring rust and talk about changes in life, the power of determination, how quitting smoking is indeed possible and whatever dumb American play me and @mediummhollow are gonna tackle next.@vander_iamiamhowardvander@gmail.comwww.ko-fi.com/mayorvander

Smile Because It Happened, or: My Hat and My Coda

Goooooooooooooood evening. One last ride with the mayor? It's been an incredible journey and so many bizarre and hilarious experiences came of it. None of it really "should" have happened, but it did and nothing can take that away from you. And by you, I mean me. This episode is as close as it gets to discussing what the Vander Jam "means."Too many people to thank here, but I absolutely couldn't have done it without Hollow and Josh. Listen to Nicepilled. Love somebody. And stick around to the end. Just remember to shut the lights off.@vander_iamiamhowardvander@gmail.com

Sincerity is important.

Full disclosure I was a guest on the Vander Jam pod. Anyways, we all know there’s a lot of podcasts out there, and it’s hard to be different and to stand apart. But the Vanderjam works so well because of its community driven structure. Everyone that goes on it is someone from a circle in some social media space that’s approachable and interested in discussing seemingly nothing and everything at the same time.

Ok ok I know that there’s plenty of banter shows and stuff like that, but this truly is different, partly because of its unabashed sincerity. Definitely worth a listen.

Wow!

I need the Vander in my jam-hole!

The Vander Jam is Jammin’

A semi-regular podcast filled with the native wit and wisdom of twitter’s own mayor.

From the bucolic town of Lake Minnetonka the mayor delivers a nuanced and entertaining flow of hip patter as he unpacks big ideas with good humour and a sincere, empathetic approach.

Give the Vander Jam a listen. It’s worth your time.
