How to Be More Inclusive as a Dog Owner Dog Mom Mentality

    • Pets & Animals

This week we are talking to Tia from @crimsonthecavapoo! Tia and her one year old, red male cavapoo, CrimSon, have made their purpose to amplify the Black voice for pet parents and pet industries on their Instagram. CrimSon is a pandemic puppy who came into Tia's life at the perfect time. The pandemic was beginning to take a large toll on her mental health and she was in a low place. When she brought CrimSon home, she immediately realized that he needed a routine, and therefore, she needed a routine. She says taking care of CrimSon has become a part of her own self-care and that she takes pride in his well-being because it is a direct reflection of her own. Beyond being an inspiration for Tia's mental health and a vehicle to promote diversity in the pet industry, CrimSon is also a little ball of energy that can't get enough fetch time!
