Today, we are kicking off the holiday season of chatologie with Kristin Schell of the Turquoise Table. Y’all, I’m just gonna tell you that this is one of my very favorite interviews. Kristin and I talk about some pretty hilarious stuff like…how she could maybe, possibly be a descendant of Davy Crockett, our favorite Thanksgiving and Christmas recipes, and when exactly we put our Christmas decorations up…but on the deeper side…she shares the real story of St. Nicholas and where our tradition of Santa Clause comes from…guys, you are going to love sharing this with your children. She even celebrates St. Nicholas Day on Dec. 6, and I’m so inspired!!! The message of holidays around Turquoise Table is really the body of Christ interacting with each other…showing love the way Jesus did, and being present with each other, just as Jesus became Emmanuel, God With Us, so that he could be present with us.
Before I introduce you to Kristin, I want to remind you of a few things…Tickets for chatologie LIVE are on sale now! There are only a few seats left, but friends…you are NOT going to want to miss this event. We are having the ultimate GNO at Philanthropy in Winter Garden, FL (a suburb of Orlando) there will be #1 shopping and lots of Thanksgiving and Christmas cheer for everybody! YOU will be the LIVE audience for a recording of a holiday episode of chatologie…with my special guests, Lisa Whittle- author of Get Your Warrior Boots ON and 5 word prayers and Stacey Thacker author of Fresh Out of Amazing and Is Jesus Worth It. We will be chatting it up about the holidays and of course we will have GIVE AWAYS! I’m also really excited to tell you that Southern Home Bakery will be providing the treats for evening…so what are you waiting for? Get you tickets today ya’ll. Alright friends, are you ready for me to introduce you to my new friend Kristin Schell? Kristen is a wife and mom of 4, and author of the Turquoise Table…a book about becoming front yard people and enjoying the simple things of life together, like a meal or a conversation. Kristin is a catalyst for hospitality and it’s one of my favorite things about her. She’s a native Texan, so of course I love that. Kristin is not only an author, but she has a line of table wear for the Turquoise Table available at Tuesday Morning’s. I just love that…because Tuesday morning’s is when a new episode of chatologie releases every week! One more thing…stay tuned all the way to the end because I’ve got a BIG giveaway this week from the Turquoise Table and I want to make sure you have all the details of how you can win! OK guys- without further delay…here’s Kristin…
