Episode 28: NHL Legend Theo Fleury: Transforming Trauma Into Triumph Pave Your Paradise

    • Spirituality

I’m thrilled to be featuring NHL legend and Stanley Cup champion, entrepreneur, relational trauma expert, speaker, and humanitarian Theo Fleury on this episode! His passion and energy for helping and leading others down a path of healing is powerful and what he’s accomplished both on the ice and off, profound. Our conversation is FULL with golden nuggets of wisdom to help you transform your trauma into triumph! Theo Fleury is best known for his time on the ice. But off the rink, his life once carried the markings of a troubled childhood, abuse and coping with emotional pain through addictive and self-destructive behaviors. Today, Theo defines himself as a victor over trauma and addiction, and a facilitator to those still trying to find their way. He has two best-selling books, Playing with Fire and Conversations with a Rattlesnake. He was has been awarded the Canadian Humanitarian Award and the Queen’s Jubilee Medallion. He also holds two honorary doctorates. Theo is now a healthy, motivational and successful agent of change. He’s skillfully adept at inviting audience self-reflection during his many speaking events by creating safe environments for guests to share their own “Me Too” experiences. Without controversy or blame, Theo focuses on helping and leading others down a path of healing. Theo resides in Calgary, Alberta and is a husband and Father. I’m elated to be featuring him and his powerful work! I’ve included a link below for you to check him out outline! Also, check out his amazing content – I’m a big fan MYSELF – to live a positive and purposeful life.
