About Ebony
Ebony Anuforo is principal and managing attorney at the Anuforo Law Firm. She is a dedicated and passionate attorney who focuses on helping individuals and families in need of legal counsel. Ebony also works with small businesses, start-ups and non-profit organizations on both business and immigration law matters.
Ebony is the daughter of immigrant parents, who migrated from Nigeria to the United States in search for a better life for themselves and their future children. As a child, Ebony's parents instilled in her the importance of hard work, diligence, authenticity, and being self-sufficient. Her parents were also entrepreneurs, so growing up she saw her parents running businesses, creating opportunities for themselves, their family members and also people in the community. It was through these experiences that Ebony became passionate in advocating for immigrant families as well as providing them the tools and resources to ensure they can be successful entrepreneurs and business owners.
Ebony speaks and writes on various legal topics, including but not limited to Immigration Law, Business and Entrepreneurship.
She graduated from Rutgers University School of Law in 2011, where she was Associate Editor of the Rutgers Conflict Resolution Law Journal. She received both her undergraduate degree and masters degree from Stony Brook University. Ebony is a Professor of Business Law and a member of the New Jersey Bar and U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
