Mac Wright is a professional cricketer who is currently part of the Tasmanian Tigers and Hobart Hurricanes.

Mac is originally from NSW, who loves his surfing, coffee, being around mates and family, and of course, trying to always find the middle of the bat.

Whilst Mac is a professional sportsman and continues to work on his craft each day, Mac is also well aware of the wide world out there that isn’t all about cricket.

Mac currently studies Psychology, and his passion for mental health and wellbeing not only stems from seeing family struggle at stages of his life, but his genuine desire to help, support and to better understand others.

In this episode we get to hear about Mac’s rise to professional cricket, his challenges both personally and professionally, performance anxiety, the importance of team culture, keeping an eye on life outside of professional sport, his passion for mental health, and much more.
