This on-line yoga community is dedicated to Black Women and Women of Color, who want to replenish their souls through yoga and meditation To Valerie, yoga is a gateway to self-discovery, growth and pursuing passions. It connects our minds, bodies and spirits and is a tool on our journey to figuring out our infinite potential.  In our chat Valerie walks us through a basic understanding of yoga and the way it builds our strength, flexibility and balance on a gross muscle level as well as internally.  We also explore the benefits of meditation and mindfulness and how valuable it is when we bring our minds and bodies to the present moments. Valerie reminds us that wellness is a necessity and not a luxury, and that it's a radical act of self-preservation, care and love.
